SAP Retrofit Process Simplified

Step 1: Extraction

Developer selects Transport Requests (TRs) in SAP ECC. 

System automatically extracts custom objects from ECC & S/4HANA for comparison via RFC.

Step 2: AI-Powered Retrofit

User initiates retrofit with Retro ID, Source & Target System. 

AI analyzes code using provided inputs (ECC code, SAP Notes, ABAP version, coding standards). AI generates remediated code and sends it back for review.

Step 3: Review & Approval

User reviews AI-generated code in a dashboard, accepts or modifies it. 

After ATC validation, system captures the remediated code in a new TR in S/4HANA.

Step 4: Deployment & Validation

TR is deployed in S/4HANA. 

User tests and validates functionality in the new environment.
